Stonegate employs a focused, team-oriented approach, essentially committing all of our resources for a specific period of time to each transaction. As many as 15 to 20 Stonegate employees may work on the same transaction for 30 to 45 days straight, all of them focused on the same goal — completing that transaction.

Even our physical layout promotes the team concept. Virtually all of our employees sit at our trading desk, enabling us to easily communicate with one other. No one works from a private office, including the partners.

Our team-oriented philosophy also defines how we compensate our employees. The Stonegate team comprises some of the brightest people in the securities industry, primarily MBA and CFA charterholders. All employees are compensated with a base salary and a quarterly bonus based on the overall success of the firm. This is in stark contrast to other firms, where monthly commission production determines the level of income in any given month.
